Endless Network Launches New Website

At Endless, our mission is to help people around the world gain access to knowledge and opportunity through technology. This week, we launched a new Endless Network website that reflects our continued dedication to the projects, partners and people that make our mission a reality.

The new website highlights three pillars that guide our work, where we both support partners and work on our own initiatives:

Games for learning

While the demand for highly skilled STEM workers is projected to grow exponentially in the next several years, coding and computer sciences still aren’t part of mainstream curricula, which limits job opportunities for many, especially those in least resourced environments. It doesn’t have to be like this. 

At Endless Network, we support organizations that advocate for digital literacy, work to equip kids with tech skills, and promote careers in the new economy. We also partner with game studios using modern game-building technology to bring kids games that look and feel like the ones they are already playing.

Device Access

While cellphones and tablets have revolutionized access to educational content, we believe that desktop computing is still the pathway to participating in the digital economy. PC’s are still expensive, and at a time when kids and families must be more reliant on technology than ever before to be able to access their education, many communities across the country and world are still being left behind.

Endless is focused on bringing together governments, nonprofits, lenders, manufacturers to work together and bridge the gap. In addition to supporting organizations that make technology more accessible, our nonprofit Endless OS Foundation is also donating laptops to communities around the world and creating innovative payment plans that can provide financing options to all families, creating a sustainable plan for technology access.

Offline Internet

Billions of people around the world still do not have reliable internet access, critical for education, discovery, and communication. At Endless, we believe storage is a solution to the internet connectivity challenge. It’s stable, cost-effective, and immediate.

We support organizations that are focused on providing high-quality content offline and that are working on innovative ways to increase access to educational materials without reliance on broadband. With these partners, we have built a rich, app-based, portable knowledge ecosystem that can be accessed offline through the Endless USB Key or by downloading to a PC.
